Promised Child Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is to cultivate the God given gifts of neurodiverse children and adults. Our ultimate goal is to use this ministry as a support group and resource as well as an additional ministry that focuses on the needs of neurodiverse individuals.

An individual described as neurodiverse may be one who thinks or acts in a way alternative to normal societal standards. A neurodiverse individual may have a formal diagnostic label such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, and so on. We would like to welcome neurodiverse individuals along with their parents, caretakers, loved ones, etc. to come together and discuss how St. Mark can better serve our neurodiverse brothers and sisters.

Current Eight Series

Vacation and stuff definitely give us serenity, but most of the time… it’s temporary.

Join us for a new 5-part series on how we can attain peace which is not reliant on the next vacation. This type of ‘serenity’ surpasses all understanding…

In addition to the talks being on Sundays at 11:30am, sing up for a life group to go deeper into the topic. Details at www.StMarkATL.Church/lifegroups.

Young Adult Ministries

In addition to the services and ministries offered at the local church level at St. Mark, there are a couple of programs that are offered in collaboration with multiple Orthodox churches. High schoolers are welcomed to attend InsideOut and our college-age students can attend YAM. Both are great programs to connect with others and grow in the Orthodox faith on Friday nights.

High school students and parents can get connected to InsideOut here.

Those 18 years and older can get connected to the Young Adult Ministry (YAM) here.

For more information about either one of these collaborative programs, check them out at YAMatl.life and InsideOutATL.life

Schedule a Confession

Throughout the lent season, let us partake of the Mystery of confession to renew ourselves. Regardless if you have done it before or don't know where to even begin, check out www.StMarkATL.church/confession.

You can schedule with Fr. Nate by contacting him directly at FrNathanael@StMarkATL.church

COME AS YOU ARE

People who were nothing like Jesus gravitated towards Him, and what is true of Christ should be true of us. Regardless of your background or past, your Savior invites you to come and see.

Transcendent Worship

Liturgical & personal worship points us to something so much bigger than ourselves. Our participation in the sacramental life is the foundation of our ancient faith and allows us to enter into a transformational life in Jesus.

Become the Light

11.jpeg

The call to carry the True Light to our world applies to us just as much as it did to the early Christians. And we have been entrusted to continue to bring His Light not only to our lives but to our city of Atlanta.
