Kiahk Praises

As the Church gets deeper in the Christmas season, the Church gives us enriching praises and hymns that focus on the renewal of our hearts. This happens in the Coptic month of Kiahk. Join us for the 4 Saturdays of this season for these unique services of prayer and praises, beginning December 14th. Vespers evening prayers begin at 6pm and the praises begin at 7 and end around 11pm. Attend any portion that you are able to.

The Christmas Season is Here

The Church encourages us to focus on the reality of the True Light coming down to heal us. In addition to fasting in our diet, join this reading challenge to aid us in our walk with Christ and living out the ancient faith. Join this WhatsApp group to get meditations, encouragement, and reminders as we read this Orthodox book together. Make sure you get your copy either at the connection table at church or Amazon. The advent fast begins on Monday, November 25.

Young Adult Ministries

In addition to the services and ministries offered at the local church level at St. Mark, there are a couple of programs that are offered in collaboration with multiple Orthodox churches. High schoolers are welcomed to attend InsideOut and our college-age students can attend YAM. Both are great programs to connect with others and grow in the Orthodox faith on Friday nights.

High school students and parents can get connected to InsideOut here.

Those 18 years and older can get connected to the Young Adult Ministry (YAM) here.

For more information about either one of these collaborative programs, check them out at YAMatl.life and InsideOutATL.life

Schedule a Confession

Throughout the lent season, let us partake of the Mystery of confession to renew ourselves. Regardless if you have done it before or don't know where to even begin, check out www.StMarkATL.church/confession.

You can schedule with Fr. Nate by contacting him directly at FrNathanael@StMarkATL.church

COME AS YOU ARE

People who were nothing like Jesus gravitated towards Him, and what is true of Christ should be true of us. Regardless of your background or past, your Savior invites you to come and see.

Transcendent Worship

Liturgical & personal worship points us to something so much bigger than ourselves. Our participation in the sacramental life is the foundation of our ancient faith and allows us to enter into a transformational life in Jesus.

Become the Light

11.jpeg

The call to carry the True Light to our world applies to us just as much as it did to the early Christians. And we have been entrusted to continue to bring His Light not only to our lives but to our city of Atlanta.
